RVTC Youth Studio's
written by Brian Klosa
From preschool to college, school dominates a huge portion of our early lives. We all have the joys of discovering our favorite teachers and subjects, and the dread of facing subjects we don’t like and navigating friendships and homework, activities. We all know that education is important but what does this mean? What ups and down does a student really encounter during the school day? What about the teachers and people who work in education? The following production will look at many comical, serious, and thought-provoking issues surrounding students and the educational experience on all levels.
Join RVTC's Youth Studio for our spring 2020 production. In this unique format, actors will help create the show by writing and designing some of the skits based on their own feelings and experiences. It's an opportunity to explore their artistic talents and learn new theatrical skills while addressing an important subject that kids and their parents all experience. All who sign up will be assigned acting roles; however, there are non-acting roles for those who want to be involved in the production, but not necessarily on stage performing. Registration opens on November 18 and there are 24 spots available. Registration closes no later than January 1.
