The River Valley Theatre Company's mission is to create opportunities for community involvement through the performing arts. It was founded in 2007 by a group of community members from Shakopee and the surrounding area. They had one goal in mind -- to provide the community with quality theatre. Since then, RVTC has strived to do just that. It has grown from presenting one show a year to a company with a standard three-show season. RVTC has also added RVTC Youth Studio to the company's regular season schedule. Our summer musical is our season highlight and largest production every season.

       The River Valley Theatre Company is proud to be a community partner of Shakopee Community Education, Shakopee Schools, and many local organizations to educate and share with people of all ages the magic, fun, and art of theatre
